Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Surveyor position based in the Northern Emirates. The selected candidate will conduct field surveys for construction and geotechnical assignments, including checking backfilling work, establishing set-out points, measuring land features, and carrying out topographic surveys. The role requires operating survey equipment, producing drawings and reports, and working closely with engineers and laboratory teams to provide accurate site data.

Key Duties

• Carry out field surveying for construction and geotechnical projects.
• Verify backfilling work and establish accurate setting-out points.
• Measure land features and perform topographic survey tasks.
• Use surveying equipment and instruments effectively in the field.
• Prepare survey drawings, calculations, and written reports.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and laboratory personnel to ensure correct site information.
• Maintain organized survey records and documentation.
• Follow site safety practices and support project teams with dependable measurements.

Required Background and Skills

• Hands-on experience with land surveying tools such as total stations, GPS devices, and levels.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, site layouts, and survey maps.
• Comfort with field data collection, measurement work, and basic survey calculations.
• Understanding of construction site workflows, geotechnical activities, and materials testing settings is an advantage.
• Familiarity with survey-related or CAD software is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined record management.
• Good communication and teamwork skills for working with site and engineering teams.
• Technical diploma or degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Prior UAE experience in construction or geotechnical surveying is beneficial.
