About the Role
GardaWorld is seeking a detail-oriented Surveillance Security Guard to join our Security Services team in London, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring various screens to detect suspicious activity and potential threats before they escalate. You will work in diverse environments, including security operation centers, call centers, construction sites, parking lots, and gatehouses. This position offers flexible scheduling with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor properties via screens to identify any suspicious activities or potential security breaches.
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or potential threats.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of observed events and incidents through comprehensive written reports.
- Conduct routine foot patrols to ensure the overall safety and security of the premises.
- Manage and control access to the property, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when serious situations or emergencies arise.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Possess a valid Ontario security license.
- Hold a current First Aid certification.
- Demonstrate strong report writing capabilities.
- Exhibit excellent eyesight and the ability to maintain sustained focus.
- Be capable of standing and walking for extended periods throughout the shift.

Eligibility
This position is open to individuals who are authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid Ontario security license and First Aid certification. Candidates should have strong observational skills, good eyesight, and the ability to maintain focus and physical stamina for the role.
