Job description
Role overview
This position is for a Supply Chain Coordinator based in Dubai, supporting a rapidly scaling US brand that operates across e-commerce and major international retail channels. The role focuses on end-to-end coordination of global logistics rather than simple shipment tracking.
You will oversee freight movements across international routes, work closely with logistics partners, and keep full visibility on shipments moving from Asia to markets such as the US, Canada, and the UK. The environment is fast-paced and requires someone who understands how international supply chains function in practice.
What you will handle
- Coordinate international shipments from Asia to multiple global destinations.
- Arrange and manage air freight and sea freight bookings.
- Prepare, organize, and monitor shipping paperwork, including commercial invoices and packing lists.
- Provide daily updates and reports on shipment progress.
- Track goods through transit, customs clearance, and final delivery.
- Work closely with production teams and demand planners to keep supply chain activity aligned.
- Liaise regularly with freight forwarders and logistics partners to resolve issues and prevent delays.
What the employer is seeking
- At least 3 to 4 years of experience in supply chain or logistics coordination.
- Practical exposure to handling international shipments.
- Good understanding of freight forwarding operations.
- Experience dealing with customs-related documentation.
- Strong organization and reporting ability.
- Comfort with coordinating air and sea freight movement.
- Prior experience shipping into the US, Canada, or UK is a strong plus.
- Preference for candidates who can join immediately or on a short notice period.
Work style and package
- Hybrid working structure based in Dubai.
- Flexible working hours may be required during the week.
- Compensation offered is AED 12,000 to AED 14,000, depending on experience.
- Opportunity to gain exposure to global logistics and international retail supply chains.
- Role within a fast-growing brand with international reach.
Additional notes
Candidates should be highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of spotting shipment delays early. Strong communication skills are important, as the role involves frequent coordination with freight forwarders and other logistics stakeholders. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a dynamic international supply chain setting.
