Job description

Overview

This is a consultant role with Antaes Asia, supporting life science initiatives for one of its clients in Singapore. The position centers on production planning, ERP-based order management, and schedule optimization in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support life science projects for the client served by Antaes Asia.
  • Take ownership of the production schedule at a daily level and make sure manufacturing lines and resources are used as effectively as possible.
  • Prepare detailed buffer and material requirement lists that are aligned with the production plan so shortages and delays are avoided.
  • Build, release, and maintain process orders and planned orders in the ERP system based on the finalized production schedule.
  • Spot and resolve production constraints such as equipment unavailability, workforce shortages, and late material supply to maintain operational continuity.
  • Contribute to the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by sharing data-based input on capacity and technical feasibility for longer-term planning.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report production adherence and schedule compliance to support ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Help represent and promote Antaes services while supporting client delivery.

Requirements

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
  • Practical experience using SAP, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability, especially for identifying bottlenecks and resolving complex scheduling issues quickly.
  • Strong attention to safety practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Self-driven and motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Good organizational skills plus strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Additional Information

This role is based in Singapore and is an onsite full-time consultant position.
