Role overview
We are looking for a detail-focused and well-organized Supply Chain / Logistics Coordinator to help keep goods, materials, and information moving smoothly through the supply chain. This position supports logistics execution, shipment monitoring, inventory record upkeep, and on-time delivery coordination.
The selected person will partner with suppliers, vendors, transport providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure day-to-day supply chain activities run efficiently from start to finish. Success in this role depends on strong coordination, sound judgment, and the ability to juggle several operational priorities in a busy environment.
What you'll do
- Oversee routine logistics tasks such as shipping, receiving, and distribution.
- Follow shipment movement closely, confirm timely arrivals, and handle delays or exceptions.
- Keep inventory, order, delivery, and logistics records accurate and up to date.
- Work with suppliers, freight partners, carriers, and internal teams to maintain smooth communication.
- Support procurement coordination and order handling activities.
- Assist with warehouse operations and inventory control work.
- Compile logistics reports, operational summaries, and performance updates.
- Spot supply chain gaps or process issues and help resolve them.
- Make sure shipping activity follows regulations, company procedures, and quality requirements.
- Help schedule transportation and, where relevant, improve delivery routing.
- Track supply chain performance measures and contribute to improvement efforts.
- Maintain logistics databases, tracking tools, and documentation with accuracy.
- Support cost-saving and efficiency initiatives in logistics operations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams so supply chain work aligns with business goals.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a similar discipline.
- Working knowledge of supply chain workflows, logistics execution, and inventory control.
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel and basic data handling tools.
- Exposure to ERP or logistics software is a plus.
- Strong planning and multitasking capabilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Clear communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly and effectively.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Capability to manage urgent tasks and meet deadlines.
