About Us
Watsons Singapore is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Executive to oversee all aspects of supply chain planning and fulfillment. This role is crucial for maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring product availability across our channels.
Responsibilities
- Execute best practices in supply planning, replenishment, and stock exit strategies to balance inventory holding with on-shelf availability for the own brand channel.
- Maintain data integrity for inventory across all systems throughout the order planning lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as store operations, trading, finance, marketing, commercial, and IT, as well as external third-party logistics providers and suppliers, to ensure timely replenishment and provide planning insights for sales promotions.
- Reconcile inventory reports as needed.
- Offer analytical support for decision-making processes.
- Manage import shipments with meticulous attention to detail and timeliness.
- Contribute to special projects, offering leadership and expertise as part of cross-functional teams.
- Develop systematic processes and exception-based tools to ensure reliable product supply.
- Undertake any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Possess a Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, ideally within the FMCG or Retail sectors. Prior experience in online supply chain roles is highly beneficial.
- Fresh graduates with demonstrated potential may be considered.
- Exhibit strong collaboration skills, the ability to work cross-functionally, build relationships, and thrive in a team setting.
- Demonstrate analytical capabilities, a strong sense of ownership, and a focus on both process and results.
- Be self-driven, organized, and capable of working extended hours, particularly under tight deadlines.
- Maintain a positive work attitude, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively even under pressure.
- Possess a thorough understanding of supply chain operations and associated risks.
- Proficient in using quantitative methods for situation analysis and problem-solving.
- Skilled in MS Office, with intermediate proficiency in MS Excel; advanced Excel skills are advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and data visualization software is required.
- Experience with RPA and SLIM4 Forecasting App is a plus.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen and sound judgment.
