Role Summary
The organization is looking for a seasoned Supply Chain Director to oversee and improve the full supply chain cycle, including forecasting, purchasing, production scheduling, stock control, warehousing, and transportation. The position is based in Dubai and follows a hybrid work model. It is a senior strategic role focused on operational performance, cost efficiency, service improvement, and supporting business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement supply chain plans that support wider business goals.
- Oversee demand forecasting, production scheduling, procurement, inventory control, and logistics activities.
- Lead improvement programs that raise efficiency, service quality, and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, including negotiations and performance management.
- Track key performance indicators and use data insights to guide decisions and improve results.
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Executive stakeholders on strategic projects, product introductions, and expansion plans.
- Manage, coach, and develop high-performing supply chain teams.
- Establish and maintain risk controls, business continuity measures, and compliance practices.
Experience and Qualifications
Applicants should bring 10 to 15 years of progressive supply chain experience, including senior leadership responsibility across end-to-end supply chain functions. GCC experience is mandatory, along with a strong understanding of regional supply networks, regulations, and business practices. The role calls for proven capability in supply chain management, production planning, procurement, inventory control, and logistics. Hands-on experience with ERP platforms, planning systems, KPI management, and analytics-driven decision-making is required. The ideal candidate will also have a track record of leading cross-functional teams and handling complex, multi-site operations.
Education and Preferred Credentials
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Professional credentials such as APICS, CSCP, CIPS, MBA, or equivalent qualifications are strongly preferred.
Skills and Attributes
This position requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation abilities, along with the capacity to drive strategic execution in a dynamic environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a competitive salary of AED 50,000 to AED 60,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits will be provided according to company policy.
