Core Responsibilities
- Keep ERP records accurate and up to date across production and supply chain functions.
- Record, monitor, and report production orders, bills of materials, and inventory movements.

- Work with internal teams to close system or process gaps and improve ERP workflows.
- Track raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods inventory to maintain healthy stock levels.
- Set and maintain reorder thresholds for packaging items so production is not interrupted.
- Perform cycle counts and resolve differences between physical inventory and ERP data.
- Create inventory controls that help lower waste and improve stock reliability.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders for suppliers in both domestic and international markets.
- Work with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and commercial terms to support cost and availability goals.
- Develop and sustain strong supplier partnerships for dependable supply.
- Coordinate shipments across the Tijuana and Los Angeles corridor, along with freight and parcel deliveries to customers.
- Assess carriers, routes, and shipping approaches to improve efficiency and reduce transportation spend.
- Build production schedules that align demand forecasts with material availability.
- Track planned versus actual production, identify variances, and flag issues early.
- Refine processes that detect planning or production mismatches before they become larger problems.
- Study forecast accuracy and suggest changes that reduce the risk of shortages or excess stock.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field is required.
- At least 4 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing is needed.
- Practical experience using ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar systems in a production environment.
- Solid knowledge of inventory management, production planning, and procurement practices.
- Prior exposure to cross-border logistics between Mexico and the United States is strongly preferred.
- Advanced working ability with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Full professional fluency in Spanish and English, both spoken and written, is essential.
- Candidates should be based in Tijuana and able to travel to Los Angeles 2 to 3 days each week.
