Job description

About the Company

Bravus is an Australian diversified business group focused on integrated energy and infrastructure services. Its portfolio includes thermal coal production for export at the Carmichael mine, renewable power generation through the Rugby Run solar farm in central Queensland, and logistics assets such as Bowen Rail Company, Abbot Point Operations, and North Queensland Export Terminal. These businesses move Queensland coal to international markets while supporting dependable energy supply, regional employment, and local economies. Bravus is part of the global Adani Group, which is advancing lower-emissions energy solutions and renewable technologies, including green hydrogen initiatives through Adani New Industries Limited.

About the Role

This opportunity is for a Supply Chain Analyst who can work in a busy, fast-moving environment and help manage the coordination of shipping, rail, and mining-related logistics. The position plays a key part in moving coal efficiently from planning through to delivery, with responsibility spanning contract execution, logistics scheduling, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.

The role supports the movement of approximately 12–15 MMT of coal to markets including China, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and India. It suits someone who is comfortable managing several priorities at once and who can handle complex supply chain activities with accuracy and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the full logistics process, from laycan planning through to monthly sales commitments, while keeping deliveries on time and cost-effective.
  • Oversee day-to-day train and vessel scheduling to support efficient operations within a high-volume 15 MTPA system.
  • Work closely with vessel agents, mining teams, and processing facilities to maintain smooth operations and resolve issues quickly.
  • Lead customer negotiations and manage contract execution with stakeholders in India, China, Korea, and Vietnam, ensuring agreements meet compliance and industry requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships internationally, while ensuring product quality meets specifications and expectations are consistently met.
  • Monitor coal quality and blending requirements.
  • Manage daily sales-related activities, review mine plans, coordinate with marketing teams, and ensure contract compliance while supporting profitability.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics, mining, or shipping operations within Australia.
  • Strong command of Excel, including pivot tables and lookups; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mining, or a related discipline.
  • Well-developed analytical ability for problem-solving and complex decision-making.
  • Alignment with the company values of courage, trust, and commitment.
  • Flexible approach to work and the ability to meet project deadlines.

Additional Information

The company offers a dynamic and supportive workplace with competitive remuneration. This role is best suited to someone who is mathematically strong, highly skilled in Excel, and enjoys working through challenging logistics problems in a high-energy setting. Candidates who can manage multiple priorities and find practical solutions to complex operational issues are encouraged to apply. Recruitment agencies are requested not to contact the company regarding this vacancy.
