Role Overview
Capgemini Engineering is looking for a DCC Analyst in Supply Chain Operations based in Chennai. This position involves managing design change coordination from start to finish, ensuring that engineering changes are correctly reflected in systems and carried through supply chain, manufacturing, and supplier networks. The role supports launch preparedness, operational stability, and accurate change execution across complex programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the full DCC workflow, including intake of design changes, classification, impact assessment, coordination, execution, and closure.
- Assess the effect of changes across bills of materials, plants, programs, suppliers, and logistics to determine adoption plans and associated risks.
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and suppliers to confirm readiness and timelines.
- Update and verify PLM and ERP records such as BOMs, applicability details, and adoption dates while maintaining traceability and data quality.
- Investigate issues, resolve operational blockers, and prepare clear escalations with root-cause findings and practical recommendations.
- Assist with audits, trials, and readiness validations before production starts or changes are released.
- Contribute to process improvements through standardization, optimization, and automation efforts.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is required.
- Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of experience in engineering operations, supply chain execution, or change management.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with multiple functions is important.
- Prior exposure to PLM, ERP, or similar enterprise systems is beneficial.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills are expected.
