Company Overview
Globe 24-7 is working with a major international gold mining business in Ghana to recruit a Ghanaian professional for the HRIS Support Superintendent position.
Role Summary
This position is responsible for shaping, rolling out, and supporting HRIS and reward frameworks while safeguarding employee records, payroll-related processes, and statutory compliance. The role also covers SAP HRIS administration, data management, payroll integration for time and attendance, and the preparation of HR analytics and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply effective practices to reward management and HRIS, and build quarterly HRIS plans that support business and budget priorities.
- Improve the end-to-end remuneration cycle by creating and refining tools, templates, and models for surveys, wage structures, and bonuses.
- Put strong controls in place for data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance, and run monthly as well as quarterly HRIS audits.
- Manage SAP HRIS operations, including system configuration, access permissions, and handling support requests.
- Update and maintain the HR intranet in coordination with DT, and deliver user training to strengthen digital adoption across HR systems.
- Check time and attendance processes so they align correctly with payroll, and prepare accurate HR dashboards, metrics, and reports.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information management, human resource management, or another relevant field. A minimum of eight years of HRIS experience is required, including at least three years in a supervisory capacity. The role calls for knowledge of labour legislation and familiarity with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651). Applicants must have hands-on experience with HR database administration and HR systems, along with a solid understanding of HR business processes. Strong capability in Microsoft Office, SAP, and SAP SuccessFactors is necessary. Useful technical strengths include programming, systems analysis and design, database administration, and reporting tools. Knowledge of access control and time and attendance systems is also expected. Experience with MS SQL, Progress database, MS Access, Power BI, and Microsoft Reporting Services will be an added advantage. The role also requires strong leadership, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to guide and develop team members. Project management experience is beneficial. A valid Ghanaian driving licence and the ability to drive a light vehicle are required.
