Where you'll work
Job description
About the Role
HAGIUS is expanding its Strength offering and is looking for an experienced Strength Coach to help shape the next stage of its training concept. This is a full-time, on-site position designed for a coach who can combine excellent instruction with a meaningful influence on the direction of the program.
Rather than aiming for large, crowded classes, the studio focuses on creating a setting where each participant feels noticed, supported, and motivated to progress. The role is suited to someone who wants to do more than teach sessions — someone who can contribute ideas, collaborate closely with the team, and help refine the overall product.
What You’ll Do
The position includes three main parts: leading group Strength classes, delivering personal training sessions, and contributing dedicated non-client-facing time for preparation, team discussions, brainstorming, and other studio work.
As part of the coaching team, you will share knowledge, work closely with fellow instructors, and help deliver a consistently high standard across all Strength sessions.
Working Pattern
This is a dedicated full-time opportunity of up to 35 hours across 6 days per week. The structure is intended to give coaches a stable environment in which they can fully commit to the role.
In exceptional cases, a conflict-free arrangement outside the standard terms may be considered, but the studio’s main preference is for coaches who are fully devoted to the position.
Requirements
The studio is seeking a highly qualified coach with a strong Strength training background and at least 5 years of coaching experience. Candidates with a shorter track record but exceptional commitment and proven passion may still be considered.
Strong energy, an ability to create an engaging atmosphere, and a natural skill for building community are important. The ideal person can connect with clients in a genuine way while maintaining a high level of professionalism and care.
You should have a sharp eye for technique, be comfortable giving practical corrections and modifications, and communicate instructions clearly. A solid understanding of anatomy and physiology is expected, along with strong musical sensitivity.
Reliability, punctuality, seriousness about the work, and a collaborative mindset are all essential. The team is looking for someone who thrives in a personalized, high-quality, and team-driven environment.
Preferred Background
Extra value will be placed on applicants who see themselves as future leaders in the fitness and wellness space, or who also bring experience as Pilates instructors or in other holistic disciplines.
Interest in the arts, music’s ability to regulate mood and energy, and an appreciation for aesthetics in movement or design will be especially well aligned with the studio’s culture.
Eligibility
This position is open to candidates who are legally eligible to work in Germany. Applicants already based in Berlin, as well as those planning to relocate there independently, are welcome to apply.
