Strategic Sourcing Manager

Role Overview

ORDON is looking for a full-time remote leader to own strategy, operations, and client engagement for GMP consulting services. The position involves shaping business direction, building service lines, and ensuring every client engagement aligns with GMP requirements, quality expectations, and applicable regulations.

What You’ll Do

• Set business priorities and translate them into workable plans for the consulting practice.
• Build and evolve service offerings based on market needs and client demand.
• Oversee client projects to ensure they consistently meet GMP, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Drive business growth by spotting new opportunities, creating proposals, and nurturing relationships with current and potential clients.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, and allocation of people and other resources.
• Guide contractors and partner consultants so delivery remains reliable and high quality.
• Represent ORDON in relevant industry forums and professional discussions.
• Stay current with changing GMP regulations and incorporate updates into the business approach.
• Improve internal processes and client solutions on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in GMP regulations and quality systems across human, veterinary, or cosmetics pharmaceuticals, with hands-on experience in compliance, audits, and regulatory dealings.
• Strong leadership and entrepreneurial capability, including strategic planning, financial oversight, and decision-making in a consulting or service-led environment.
• Proven ability to manage clients effectively, from understanding their needs to designing solutions, preparing proposals, and building long-term relationships.
• Background in quality assurance, risk management, and SOP creation, with the ability to develop, evaluate, and improve documentation and operating processes.
• Capability to create and deliver training sessions, workshops, and learning materials on GMP topics for audiences with mixed levels of knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to explain technical and regulatory subjects clearly.
• Comfort working independently in a remote setup while handling several priorities and meeting deadlines with little supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced quality or regulatory certifications are advantageous.
• Prior exposure to consulting, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or regulatory affairs is highly desirable.
