Job description
Role overview
We are seeking a Storesperson to support store and warehouse activities at Perth Airport, Western Australia. In this role, you will deliver customer-oriented service by making sure goods are ordered, received, dispatched, and stored accurately and in line with established procedures. You will also help coordinate workshop operations and work alongside Project Management to support production targets.
A key part of the role is keeping the work area safe, hygienic, and tidy, while identifying and reporting any unsafe equipment or possible hazards.
What you will be doing
- Keeping store operations running efficiently and accurately so production needs are met
- Sending customer orders out on time and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly
- Collecting jobs for the production team
- Loading and unloading stock and materials
- Helping with stock counts and stock takes
- Maintaining reliable stock records and systems
- Delivering a consistently high standard of customer service
What we are looking for
- Previous study or qualifications in transport, warehousing, logistics, or distribution would be an advantage
- A valid forklift licence
- Comfort using Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team
- Strong initiative, motivation, and attention to detail
