Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Storeperson to join our dynamic team in Wingfield, Australia. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to build a career in warehouse operations and logistics. You will play a crucial role in supporting daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient stock management, accurate order processing, and maintaining high standards for our facility. Local customer deliveries may also be part of your duties. This position is perfect for an energetic, hardworking individual eager to develop expertise in warehousing and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices at all times, actively contributing to a strong safety culture and adhering to all health and safety protocols.
• Receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch stock accurately and efficiently to meet operational targets.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and participate in inventory control processes, ensuring precise record-keeping.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse to be clean, orderly, and presentable.
• Process customer orders promptly with exceptional attention to detail.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, safely and in compliance with guidelines.
• Assist with local customer deliveries as needed, representing the company professionally.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve warehouse objectives and foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management regarding inventory discrepancies or operational issues.

Qualifications

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety and the ability to consistently follow procedures.
• An enthusiastic and dependable work ethic with excellent reliability and punctuality.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• A current driver's license.
• Physical capability to regularly lift, carry, and move heavy items.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software.
• A genuine interest in warehousing, logistics, or the broader supply chain industry.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing warehouse demands.
• Forklift experience or a High-Risk Forklift License, or a willingness to learn.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is advantageous but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
