Job description
Role Overview
This onsite role in Kohler, WI is centered on building and running supply plans that help deliver excellent customer service while supporting broader supply chain strategy for assigned product categories. The position involves tracking service performance, open orders, lead times, inventory condition, and shipping goals to spot risks early and take corrective action. It also requires making well-balanced recommendations that align business priorities with supply chain realities and developing trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
The work location is onsite four days per week in Kohler, WI.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the supply lead for Shower Doors, Bathroom Furniture, and Housewares by monitoring delivery performance, addressing issues, and leading root-cause analysis with follow-through actions. Share updates and outcomes in S&OE and related forums. The category scope may evolve over time.
- Create and manage supply plans for assigned categories so they align with forecasted demand and business goals.
- Work as the main connection between supply chain and demand teams to confirm demand plans and review mid- and long-range strategies.
- Maintain integrated supply plans that support service, cost, and inventory objectives as part of the monthly S&OP process.
- Review capacity needs across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons and suggest adjustments to keep plans realistic and executable.
- Build supply plans around product launches, transitions, phase-outs, and strategy changes.
- Prepare for and actively participate in S&OP and S&OE meetings to align on actions and supply priorities.
- Lead supply review discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner with logistics and transportation teams to coordinate warehouse space and container planning with supply plans.
- Drive recovery plans when supply shortfalls or long lead times create execution risks.
- Translate supply plans into shipments and revenue while making sure logistics capacity can support delivery.
- Assess supply trade-offs, explain customer impacts, and document agreed commercial actions with channel and category leaders.
- Keep product lead times accurate so customer commitments can be made reliably.
- Support strategic work involving demand, supply, capacity, and inventory analysis.
- Represent supply chain in process improvement efforts and capability deployment projects.
- Promote continuous improvement through KBA and industry standards, best practices, analytics, and technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required; a background in supply chain management, business, or industrial/systems engineering is preferred.
- At least 5 years of professional experience is required.
- Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
- Professional certification such as CSCMP, APICS, or ISM is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-location or global projects with limited supervision.
- Strong Excel capability is required; experience with SAP ECC is preferred.
- Exposure to Power BI and advanced planning tools such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or o9 is preferred.
- Well-developed analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to juggle and prioritize several simultaneous requests.

This position includes day-one benefits, giving eligible associates access to applicable benefit programs immediately upon hire with no waiting period. The annual salary range for this role is $90,200 to $137,700. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, and work location. The role is also eligible for a performance bonus or variable incentive compensation.
