  • Maintain strong governance, pay equity controls, and full compliance with plan documents, accounting rules, and tax obligations.

Incentive Program Design and Effectiveness

  • Work closely with the Global Total Rewards Leader, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to model cost impact, define payout curves, and align rewards with company financial performance.

Board Governance and Proxy Disclosure

  • Own the preparation, development, and review of end-to-end materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board.
  • Lead annual proxy statement work related to executive compensation, including the Compensation Discussion and Analysis section and all SEC disclosure requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external compensation advisors and proxy firms such as ISS and Glass Lewis to support favorable recommendations and Say-on-Pay outcomes.

Stakeholder Enablement, Recognition, and Employer Branding

  • Create clear and persuasive communication plans that increase the perceived value of total compensation programs.
  • Drive the rollout of global recognition programs that improve employee engagement, attraction, and retention across distributed teams.
  • Equip senior leadership with transparent frameworks, market intelligence, and data-based decision support for executive reward governance.

Performance Expectations

  • Ensure executive compensation and incentive programs are fully aligned with company financial performance measures.
  • Deliver positive proxy advisor recommendations and strong approval outcomes on Say-on-Pay votes.
  • Strengthen attraction and retention of executive talent through competitive, market-relevant program design.

First-Year Deliverables

  • Align executive compensation and long-term incentive structures with the company’s financial results.
  • Run a smooth Compensation Committee cycle and publish an annual proxy statement that is compliant and audit-ready.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or advanced HR certification is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in compensation and total rewards, including executive compensation exposure in a multinational or publicly listed environment.
  • Experience designing effective short-term and long-term incentive plans for teams spread across multiple geographies.
  • Strong financial understanding, benchmarking capability, and knowledge of regulations related to executive compensation, equity compliance, and local legal requirements.
  • Ability to work across functions, manage complex initiatives, and present data clearly to senior management, large employee groups, and the Board.
  • Comfort with HR systems, internal data tools, advanced Excel, and advanced PowerPoint for presentation and storytelling.
