We are scaling our operations and seeking a strategic leader to build and optimize our People Operations function.
The PositionVictory Home Remodeling is seeking an experienced Senior Director of People Operations to lead and scale our HR functions. This role is critical in supporting our aggressive growth targets, aiming to expand from 500 to over 1,000 employees and from $100M to $250M+ in revenue within the next 24 months. You will be responsible for architecting the systems, structure, and culture necessary to sustain this rapid expansion with a people-first approach. As the senior-most People Operations leader, you will have complete ownership of HR strategy, infrastructure, and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a scalable People Operations strategy aligned with ambitious company growth objectives.
- Enhance People Operations infrastructure, including policies, systems, and workflows, to accommodate doubled headcount without compromising culture or performance.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and long-term people strategy.
- Lead organizational change management initiatives related to growth, structural adjustments, and performance evolution.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on matters of performance management, organizational effectiveness, and team well-being.
- Manage and develop a high-performing People Operations team, ensuring consistency and excellence across all company regions and departments.
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, to ensure an exceptional employee experience.
- Create programs designed to boost engagement, retention, and overall performance across all roles.
- Partner with the People Experience team to reinforce Victory's unique culture.
- Refine performance management systems to align with company Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Develop organizational designs and roadmaps that support company OKRs.
- Foster accountability, clarity, and development opportunities at all organizational levels.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and nurture high-potential talent.
- Develop competitive compensation structures benchmarked against Northeast market standards for the exterior home remodeling industry.
- Manage the benefits strategy to ensure market competitiveness and maximize employee value.
- Ensure comprehensive compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws across the company.
- Lead the HRIS and people data strategy to generate actionable insights and inform decision-making.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as retention, engagement, performance, and organizational health.
- Utilize data analytics to proactively identify potential risks and opportunities within the workforce.
- A minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in HR or People Operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience in high-growth, multi-location service-based businesses is highly preferred.
- Proven success in scaling a company from 300-500 employees to over 1,000 is strongly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead effective HR teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- In-depth expertise in employee relations, compliance, compensation strategies, and organizational design.
- Strong business acumen with the capacity to align people strategies with revenue and growth objectives.
- Experience operating in multi-state environments, particularly in the Northeast and Southeast regions.
