Role overview

This is a senior thought-leadership position centered on innovation and emerging technologies, with particular attention to digital assets, tokenization, blockchain-based systems, and new financial and enterprise operating models. The role is based in Germany and is posted on behalf of a partner organization that handles applications and the next stages of the hiring process.

In this position, you will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, helping them make sense of how disruptive technologies are changing industries and reshaping business architecture. The work combines market research, forward-looking analysis, and executive-level engagement to generate insights that help CIOs, digital executives, and other decision-makers act with confidence. You will also help shape research priorities and influence how organizations adopt and scale new technologies, making this a highly visible role with global reach.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed research and interpretation of innovation trends and emerging technologies, especially digital assets, tokenization, blockchain, and modern enterprise architectures.
  • Create credible, executive-ready insights that explain market direction, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Monitor global technology and market developments and turn complex changes into practical guidance for business leaders.
  • Work directly with senior executives in advisory meetings, briefings, conferences, and client conversations to recommend strategic actions.
  • Develop research papers, presentations, and analytical frameworks that influence decisions across industries.
  • Help define and refine research agendas by spotting new themes, unmet needs, and areas of disruptive innovation.
  • Partner with internal teams on client support, content creation, and market insights.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and public forums as a voice on innovation and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • At least 12 years of experience in enterprise technology, fintech, digital assets, consulting, or advisory work in complex international settings.
  • Strong knowledge of digital asset ecosystems, including tokenization, blockchain, stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and related technologies.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture and how emerging technologies are integrated into large-scale systems.
  • Experience advising large enterprises or public-sector clients on technology strategy and transformation.
  • Strong analytical ability to assess technical and market information and convert it into executive-level recommendations.
  • Demonstrated success in producing high-quality research, advisory output, or thought-leadership content.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive audiences.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the global technology and financial services landscape.
  • Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; an advanced degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

Perks and benefits

  • Senior-level compensation with performance-linked rewards.
  • Flexible remote and hybrid working options across the United Kingdom and Europe.
  • Access to leading research tools and global expert networks.
  • A high-impact role with significant visibility and influence.
  • Opportunities to present at major industry conferences and executive forums.
  • An inclusive, collaborative, and intellectually engaging environment.
  • Strong career growth potential within a globally recognized research organization.
