Role overview

RedBox SA is hiring an experienced accountant to support a busy, analytics-led finance function in Riyadh. This position sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and technology, and is best suited to someone who is comfortable working with large transaction volumes, revenue accounting, Odoo ERP, and Saudi tax compliance. Prior experience in a logistics environment is specifically required.

Key responsibilities

• Own the accounts receivable cycle from end to end, including monthly merchant billing, posting customer receipts, tracking overdue balances, and issuing credit notes.
• Maintain compliance with ZATCA rules, oversee the Fatoora e-invoicing workflow, and prepare quarterly VAT output reports.
• Handle recurring invoicing, payment posting, and credit note processing as part of daily accounting operations.
• Carry out bank reconciliations across multiple systems such as Odoo, operational platforms, and bank statements, then clear mismatches quickly.
• Prepare reliable revenue reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis while ensuring data completeness.
• Work with the technology team to investigate Odoo integration issues and help streamline and automate accounting processes.
• Respond to merchant queries by email and support issue resolution related to pricing variances, discounts, and promotional adjustments.

Required background

The role calls for a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, along with 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience in high-volume environments. Hands-on knowledge of ZATCA compliance and the Fatoora e-invoicing system is mandatory. Strong practical experience with Odoo ERP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are also essential. Applicants should be fluent in both Arabic and English, possess strong problem-solving ability, pay close attention to detail, and communicate effectively across teams. Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or marketplace settings is preferred, and prior work in a logistics company is required.
