Role overview
Samsung Semiconductor Europe GmbH is looking for a Workplace Experience Specialist to support the workplace operations that keep the Munich headquarters safe, smooth, and productive. In this role, you will help employees focus on innovation by making sure workplace services run reliably and in line with legal requirements.
You will work closely with the safety specialist and the company doctor to coordinate statutory compliance, required training, and medical services for Munich-based office staff. The position also includes managing cost-efficient purchases of assets and equipment according to business needs, as well as organizing seasonal internal employee events that support engagement and wellbeing.
This is a varied support role suited to someone who enjoys helping others and contributing to a positive employee experience. Please note that this is a fixed-term position for 14 months.
Occupational health and safety
- Act as the on-site contact and support link between the workplace team, the occupational safety specialist, and the company doctor.
- Coordinate workplace safety talks, awareness sessions, and safety campaigns.
- Arrange preventive medical checks for employees together with the company doctor.
- Participate in quarterly safety meetings.
- Review general workplace risk assessments in close collaboration with the occupational safety specialist and company doctor.
Purchasing and asset support
- Oversee the purchase of assets and equipment as an internal local service based on business requirements.
- Ensure procurement activity follows internal purchasing rules and approval processes.
Internal events
- Plan seasonal employee events end to end, including venue selection, catering, and entertainment.
- Handle budgeting, vendor agreements, cost reconciliation, and post-event compliance reporting.
Profile and qualifications
- Valid German Class B driving licence held for at least 3 years.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or an equivalent professional qualification such as CCI/IHK.
- Business-fluent German and English skills, with a minimum level of B2.
- Previous customer-facing experience.
- Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Friendly, cooperative, and proactive working style.
- Additional advantage if you have volunteered with or gained first-hand exposure to first aid support, fire brigade activities, or similar volunteer roles.
