Job description

Role overview

In this position, you will manage and continuously improve the HR portal so employees can quickly find accurate, useful information. The role brings together content governance, portal administration, stakeholder coordination, and analytics to create a better employee experience.

Content management

  • Keep HR portal content current, accurate, and aligned with internal policy requirements.
  • Set up and uphold standards for content governance, taxonomy, and metadata usage.
  • Review content regularly to identify and remove outdated, duplicate, or irrelevant material.
  • Oversee the full content journey from creation through publication and eventual retirement.

Stakeholder collaboration

  • Work closely with HR teams and subject matter experts to build content tailored to different audience needs.
  • Convert detailed HR policies into clear, accessible, employee-friendly language.
  • Advise contributors on content structure, usability, and accessibility best practices.

Portal administration

  • Serve as the main administrator for the HR portal platform.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to content or the system itself.
  • Create process documentation and training resources for content contributors.

Technology and enhancements

  • Support portal updates, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to roll out new features and improvements.
  • Assess emerging tools, including AI-based content and search solutions, as well as SEO-related capabilities.
  • Evaluate and introduce AI-enabled support tools for intranet environments.

Analytics and reporting

  • Track portal traffic, search behaviour, and user engagement trends.
  • Prepare reports that show how content is performing.
  • Use data findings to suggest practical improvements.

Education and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Communications, HR, or a related discipline is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in knowledge management, content management, or intranet platforms is expected.

Technical and soft skills

  • Hands-on experience with CMS or KMS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture and content organisation.
  • Excellent writing and editing ability.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and search functionality.
  • Experience with AI-enabled content, search, or customer interaction tools for intranet platforms.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and quality.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Customer-oriented approach.
