About the Role
This is a remote contracting opportunity for an experienced special education professional to help assess and improve AI-generated outputs used in special education contexts. The work is focused on evaluating content tied to IEP goal development, accommodations, behavioral supports, compliance, and related workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Assess AI-produced responses connected to IEP goal drafting, accommodation suggestions, and behavioral intervention plans.
- Build realistic examples drawn from special education processes, including IEP meeting notes and progress-tracking scenarios.
- Review, tag, and validate data across special education scenarios while keeping IDEA and related regulations in mind.
- Share detailed feedback on AI quality in areas such as federal and state special education rules and evidence-based intervention approaches.
- Work asynchronously with research teams to improve evaluation methods for special education AI systems.
Required Background
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in special education.
- Experience in one or more of the following: classroom instruction in special education, IEP coordination, or applied behavior analysis.
- Strong reasoning skills and the ability to turn individualized student-support processes into structured evaluation tasks.
- Excellent written communication and a sharp eye for detail.
Preferred Credentials
- Professional qualifications such as BCBA certification, special education teaching licensure, or school psychologist certification are preferred.
Compensation and Terms
The pay for completed tasks is $850 to $1,000 per task, with compensation depending on task quality. High performers may also be eligible for a weekly bonus. There is also a possibility of moving into an hourly pay structure for strong performers.
