About the Role

JSW Energy is looking for a Solar Site Incharge to manage day-to-day plant operations at a solar power site in India. The position focuses on keeping the site running efficiently, coordinating maintenance, maintaining statutory and operational records, and working with internal teams and external stakeholders to support reliable plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise routine site activities to ensure the solar plant operates without interruption.
  • Work with Site Engineers and other In-Charges to execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on time.
  • Track joint meter readings accurately and handle credit note preparation and issuance.
  • Compile and review daily generation summaries, breakdown logs, generation loss studies, and other management reports.
  • Monitor material stocks and ensure critical spares remain available in line with O&M commitments and plant requirements.
  • Follow operational procedures and safety standards consistently across the site.
  • Plan and implement measures that improve plant performance and overall efficiency.
  • Handle scheduling, forecasting, and deviation settlement processes with complete supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with service vendors, plant operators, and OEMs to support effective operations and maintenance.
  • Engage with government bodies, DISCOMs, transmission companies, and local authorities to meet regulatory and operational obligations.
  • Oversee warranty-related claims and insurance documentation for plant equipment.
  • Work on cost reduction initiatives in O&M by developing and managing vendors effectively.
  • Ensure strong adherence to Fire & Safety practices and escalate technical, EHS, and ESG concerns promptly.

Requirements

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical.
  • Hands-on exposure to managing utility-scale solar power projects of 50 MW or more.
  • Strong understanding of operations and maintenance practices in solar plants.
  • Working knowledge of fire safety, EHS, and ESG compliance at site level.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including authorities and vendors.
  • Experience in handling reporting, documentation, and plant performance monitoring.
