Job description
Role Overview
Midtown Software is looking for a skilled Software Tester who is eager to strengthen their expertise and grow professionally. This opportunity is suited for candidates with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing for web applications and APIs.
- Apply a solid understanding of manual testing methods, workflows, and testing techniques.
- Prepare and maintain test scenarios and test cases.
- Work with test case and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Tortoise SVN, and Azure VSTS.
- Use basic database concepts and SQL in testing activities.
- Participate across the full STLC lifecycle from planning through execution.
- Carry out regression, sanity, smoke, retesting, and GUI testing.
- Test APIs using Postman.
- Collaborate in an Agile development environment.
- Use strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify issues.
