- Build software systems designed to operate at large scale.
- Apply an experimental mindset and learn from both successful and unsuccessful outcomes.
- Support the creation of customer-facing experiences used around the world.
Requirements
- Must be in the final semester or trimester of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or have completed university studies within the last 24 months at the time of applying.
- Must be able to start the role between Dec 2024 and June 2026.
- Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related tertiary qualification.
- Strong object-oriented design and programming ability, preferably in C, C++, or Java on UNIX/Linux.
- Experience with distributed or multi-tier systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
- Exposure to optimization mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
- Ability to explain technical problems and proposed solutions clearly.
- Comfort with ambiguous or undefined problems and the ability to think abstractly.
- Preferred: experience developing in Linux.
- Preferred: experience building software on AWS platforms.
