Role Overview
Kreative House Consulting is hiring a Social Media Manager & Content Creator who is creative, well-organized, and focused on results. This hybrid role is based in the Greater Toronto Area and includes the flexibility to work remotely, while also requiring attendance at client meetings, content shoots, and team collaboration activities as needed.
The person in this role will plan and deliver social media strategies, produce engaging content, manage online communities, review performance data, and help clients move toward their marketing objectives. A solid grasp of social media trends, brand storytelling, content planning, and brand building is important for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and roll out social media plans across several platforms.
- Produce visual and multimedia content such as photos, videos, reels, stories, and graphics.
- Build and maintain content calendars for different client accounts.
- Craft attention-grabbing captions, social posts, and campaign messages.
- Track audience interaction and oversee community engagement.
- Review campaign results and suggest ways to improve performance.
- Work closely with clients, designers, photographers, videographers, and internal staff.
- Keep current with social media developments, platform changes, and industry standards.
- Participate in content shoots, events, and activations when needed.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in social media marketing and social media optimization.
- Strong ability in content planning, copywriting, and brand storytelling.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Experience tracking, interpreting, and reporting on social media performance data.
- Comfort working independently while still contributing well in a team setting.
- Working knowledge of major social platforms and creation tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, CapCut, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related subject is preferred.
- Previous experience in a marketing, creative, agency, or entrepreneurial environment is an advantage.
Preferred Additional Experience
- Exposure to email marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Flodesk, Klaviyo, or Constant Contact.
- Experience managing paid campaigns on Meta, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, or Google Ads.
- Background in photography, videography, or video editing.
- Experience supporting event marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Familiarity with website content updates and basic SEO practices.
Work Arrangement
This is a part-time hybrid role located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Remote work is available, but in-person attendance is expected for meetings, shoots, and collaborative activities as required.
