Role overview
As Social Media Manager, you will plan and deliver social media programs that strengthen brand visibility, connect with the intended audience, and support growth in followers, engagement, and conversions. You will work closely with Marketing, Content, Product, and other teams to make sure social activity supports broader business and brand goals.
This is an onsite role based in Lisbon. The company is open to supporting relocation.
Key responsibilities
- Build and implement social media plans across channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Produce, curate, and organize posts, images, and short videos that reflect the brand tone and objectives.
- Engage with the community by replying to comments, direct messages, and mentions, while maintaining a positive brand presence.
- Measure campaign performance using metrics like reach, engagement, and conversions, then use the findings to improve future activity.
- Keep up with platform changes, trends, and best practices to ensure campaigns stay current and effective.
- Coordinate with designers, writers, and other collaborators to deliver consistent, high-quality content.
- Plan and oversee paid social campaigns aimed at improving engagement and conversion outcomes.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a closely related area.
- About 4 or more years of experience handling social media campaigns and online communities for brands.
- Strong writing ability with a clear understanding of brand tone and messaging.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar social media management platforms.
- Working knowledge of social media analytics tools and the ability to turn data into practical actions.
- Comfort with juggling priorities, meeting deadlines, and performing well in a fast-moving environment.
- A creative approach with attention to visual storytelling and audience engagement.
