Role overview

Fridoug Limited is looking for a Social Media Manager and Content Creator to oversee its digital presence, produce attention-grabbing content, strengthen brand visibility, and support the promotion of its services across online channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and run social media plans together with posting schedules and content calendars.
  • Produce, refine, and share engaging material such as graphics, photographs, videos, and written updates.
  • Set up and maintain the company’s accounts on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and any other relevant channels.
  • Keep an eye on comments, direct messages, and customer questions, and respond promptly.
  • Attend company events, project-related activities, and site visits to capture content.
  • Design and launch social media campaigns aimed at boosting engagement and brand reach.
  • Measure platform performance, review results, and prepare regular reports.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and suggest fresh content concepts.
  • Make sure all materials reflect the company’s brand voice and communication guidelines.
  • Work with internal teams to collect information and create relevant content.

Qualifications and experience

A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism, or a closely related discipline is required. Applicants should have 1 to 2 years of experience in social media management and content creation. Familiarity with content production and editing tools will be an added advantage.

Skills

The role calls for strong written and spoken communication, creative thinking, storytelling ability, photography and videography, basic graphic design and video editing, good organisation, time management, social media analytics knowledge, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

This position is based in Accra, Greater Accra Region, Ghana and is a full-time, onsite opportunity.
