Role Summary
The Social Media Executive will take ownership of day-to-day social media activity, support campaign delivery, and help strengthen brand visibility across digital channels. The role also involves coordinating with PR partners, contributing to events, and creating engaging content that aligns with wider marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and oversee company social media activity so it matches marketing plans and campaign targets.
- Work with external PR agencies to coordinate publicity and influencer initiatives that support the broader marketing approach.
- Identify emerging social platforms and suggest practical ways to use them effectively.
- Support the planning and delivery of events where required.
- Attend industry award events and produce social content that promotes important people and moments within the sector.
- Help develop content through collaborations with ambassadors, bloggers, and media-related events.
Required Experience and Skills
- Demonstrated experience managing social media across multiple platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Hands-on experience creating social media content.
- Previous involvement in budget handling.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a busy marketing team.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Well-developed organisational skills.
Offer and Working Arrangements
The pay is around £16.41 per hour. A strong benefits package is included. The working pattern follows a hybrid model with 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office.
