Job description
Role overview
ZOEVA is looking for a creative, highly organised and results-driven Social Media Executive to run the brand’s organic social presence on a daily basis. In this role, you will report to the Global Marketing Director and collaborate closely with the UGC & Partnerships Manager. Your focus will include planning content, publishing, moderating community interactions and sharing performance updates across all social platforms.
This position is ideal for someone who is deeply familiar with social platforms, has a strong eye for content, understands community engagement, and can plan ahead while keeping reporting clear and actionable. A real interest in beauty and lifestyle, along with the ability to help grow an active, brand-aligned community, is important.
Travel may be required occasionally.
Content planning and channel management
- Take ownership of the social media content calendar and align plans with the wider marketing, brand and product launch schedule.
- Develop and coordinate platform-specific posts and copy for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
- Partner with Marketing, Brand, New Product Development and other internal teams to make sure social activity supports launches, campaigns and broader business goals.
- Track emerging trends, decide which ones suit the brand, and draw inspiration from trends beyond the beauty category as well.
- Use trend research tools and social listening methods to stay ahead of developments.
- Make sure all content reflects brand guidelines, tone of voice and the community values associated with the brand.
Community management
- Handle daily community engagement by replying to comments and direct messages, and coordinate with Customer Service when needed.
- Look for opportunities to interact with the audience through stitches, duets and reposts, turning community moments into high-performing content that still feels on-brand.
- Keep an eye on brand mentions and participate in relevant conversations where appropriate.
- Follow established processes for managing negative feedback and social escalations.
Collaboration with UGC and partnerships
- Work closely with the UGC & Partnerships Manager to connect organic social with creator, UGC and partnership activity.
- Share community feedback, content trends and best-performing posts to support creator briefs and partnership planning.
Reporting and insight
- Share weekly and monthly updates on agreed KPIs and engagement metrics with the wider business.
- Analyse performance data and turn it into practical recommendations that improve social strategy.
- Keep up with industry movement, competitor activity and new or emerging social platforms, and suggest fresh opportunities when relevant.
Experience and working style
The role calls for someone with prior experience in a similar social media position and a strong interest in beauty and lifestyle trends. You should be comfortable handling multiple responsibilities at once, moving between content creation, copywriting and reporting with ease. Clear communication, commercial awareness, initiative and a collaborative mindset are all essential. The business also notes that, although this is a full-time long-term role, the marketing team is employed on a freelance basis because the company is German.
