Moodle Social Media is a fast-moving social media agency focused on content production, strategy, and account management. The team partners closely with businesses to strengthen their online presence, shaping work around each client’s market position and specific needs. Their aim is to create memorable stories that stand out, while acting like a seamless extension of the client’s own team and delivering work that produces tangible outcomes.
Role summary
This position involves managing multiple retained client accounts and taking ownership of day-to-day social media delivery. The role combines strategy, content creation, client communication, community engagement, and hands-on production work across shoots, events, and campaigns.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee three retained client accounts, including content calendars, content development, copywriting, scheduling, reporting, and regular client communication, plus weekly client meetings.
- Build social media strategies, content plans, and proposals that support client goals, audience needs, and broader marketing objectives.
- Handle community management for assigned channels by responding to audiences promptly and in a way that reflects each brand accurately.
- Manage end-to-end production for retained client content shoots, from planning and on-site capture through to editing and final delivery of assets.
- Assist with one-off projects such as events, activations, and campaign shoots, with the ability to capture, edit, and publish content quickly when needed.
- Produce organic and paid social creative assets that contribute to wider advertising and campaign performance.
- Track trends, platform changes, and new content formats to spot opportunities that could improve client results and social strategy.
Requirements
- Experience running organic social media accounts, including planning content, building calendars, writing copy, managing communities, reporting, and handling client communication.
- Strong knowledge of social platforms, current trends, and best practices, with a willingness to test new tools, formats, and creative ideas.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt content to each platform and brand voice.
- Strong organisation and project coordination ability, with the capacity to juggle several clients, projects, and deadlines at once.
- Confident relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, suited to a client-facing role.
- Based in London or close enough to commute regularly, with flexibility to attend client shoots, events, and meetings across the city.
