About the Role
Valiant is seeking a creative and confident social media specialist to shape its presence across digital channels. This role is more than simply publishing content; it is about becoming a visible brand ambassador and helping define how SMB owners and finance professionals perceive and interact with Valiant online.
The ideal person is comfortable appearing on camera, can write compelling platform-specific content, and knows how to blend creativity with strategy. You should enjoy experimenting, analysing results, and presenting a fintech brand in a way that feels engaging, relatable and authentic.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute a social content plan that supports Valiant’s marketing priorities and brand tone.
- Act as the on-camera representative for the brand across social platforms through presenting, hosting, short-form video, reels, stories and live content.
- Produce, edit and schedule content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and other relevant channels.
- Develop social advertising concepts and creative assets that increase awareness, engagement and lead generation.
- Track trends, audience behaviour and community conversations, then reply to comments and messages in a way that strengthens engagement.
- Review content and campaign performance, then turn the data into practical improvements for organic and paid activity.
- Work closely with the wider marketing team to keep messaging and visual identity consistent across all touchpoints.
- Stay informed about platform updates and industry shifts so the brand remains current and competitive.
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a closely related discipline.
- Hands-on experience creating content for social platforms such as TikTok, LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Confidence, presence and ease on camera, with the ability to represent a brand naturally and credibly.
- Strong awareness of how different social channels work and how their audiences behave.
- Excellent writing, editing and communication abilities, including the skill to make finance content engaging.
- Comfort working with analytics and using data to guide decisions and optimisation.
- A creative, storytelling-led approach to digital marketing.
- Experience with social media and analytics platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite.
