About Merces
Merces is Ireland’s first fitness rewards app and the first product of its kind globally. The platform links with a user’s Strava activity so runs and walks can be turned into rewards from cafés, wellness brands, and local businesses. The company is preparing to launch in Dublin in June 2026 and is expanding quickly.
Role overview
This summer internship is for a creative, motivated, and original Social Media & Content Creator Intern. The position is hands-on and away from a traditional desk setup. You will be out creating content in places such as saunas, yoga studios, run clubs, acai bars, and some of Dublin’s most popular cafés, helping build a brand that is doing something new in the market.
What you will do
- Produce and publish regular Reels, TikToks, and Stories.
- Run the day-to-day activity for the brand’s Instagram and TikTok channels.
- Develop new content concepts that increase engagement and attract followers.
- Maintain a polished, cohesive brand presence across all social platforms.
- Reply to community comments and direct messages, and help keep the audience engaged.
- Support content planning and execution for events and partner announcements.
What we are looking for
- A strong interest in social media and a clear understanding of how it works.
- A good instinct for creating content that captures attention quickly.
- Someone already making their own content, with a TikTok or Instagram profile to share.
- Availability to be based in Dublin during the summer.
- A proactive personality with plenty of creative ideas.
- Preference for candidates studying Digital Marketing at third level, though this is not mandatory.
- An authentic interest in fitness, wellness, or startup culture would be an added advantage.
