Job description
Company Overview
EventHaus is an Ireland-based events agency focused on B2B exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows. The business designs live, hybrid, and digital experiences that bring industries, companies, and communities together across Ireland and internationally.
Role Summary
EventHaus is hiring a creative, self-driven, and highly organised Social Media & Content Creation Specialist to lead and expand the social media presence for several event brands and accounts.
The role reports to the Digital Marketing Lead and Marketing Manager and involves close collaboration with the marketing team, event teams, clients, partners, exhibitors, and speakers. The successful person will plan, create, schedule, review, and improve social-led content across multiple brands.
This is a practical, hands-on position for someone who genuinely understands social media, follows trends closely, knows how platforms differ by audience and purpose, and can manage multiple brands, timelines, and campaigns at the same time.
Brands and Events
You may support a varied portfolio of event brands, including:
- Table to Tech – IFSA Conference
- The National Education Show
- CATEX
- The Wedding Show at the RDS
- WorldSkills Ireland 2026
- ZEB Summit
- Bord Bia Bloom
Because multiple campaigns can run simultaneously, strong planning, flexibility, and time management are essential.
Responsibilities
- Oversee social media activity for several event brands and accounts.
- Build and update weekly and monthly content calendars.
- Plan and deliver channel-specific social strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
- Produce original social content such as short-form video, talking-to-camera clips, graphics, trend-based posts, event storytelling, educational and promotional content, and behind-the-scenes material.
- Craft captions that suit each brand, audience, and platform.
- Use scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, SocialPilot, or comparable platforms to publish content.
- Handle comments, messages, and community engagement in a professional manner.
- Conduct social listening, trend tracking, and competitor research.
- Review weekly performance and spot opportunities to improve results.
- Apply analytics and insights to refine content and suggest future tests.
- Work with clients, partners, exhibitors, speakers, and internal teams to collect campaign details and content.
- Assist with live social coverage during events when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing multiple social media brands or accounts at once.
- Strong grasp of platform-led strategy for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Confident video editing ability using CapCut or a similar tool.
- Practical Canva experience for graphics, templates, and simple motion elements.
- Experience with scheduling platforms such as Hootsuite or SocialPilot.
- Working knowledge of Excel for handling lists, reporting, and related tasks.
- Familiarity with project tools such as Notion, Monday.com, or Asana.
- Ability to spot trends and turn them into content ideas.
- High attention to detail in copy, visuals, and publishing.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with overlapping deadlines and campaigns.
- Advantageous: experience with B2B social media accounts, events/exhibitions/conferences, niche industry audiences, and live event coverage or reactive content creation.
