Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Social Media Assistant specializing in TikTok and Instagram influencer partnerships. The role is based in the Greater Chicago Area and centers on creating content, coordinating creator collaborations, running social media campaigns, monitoring results, and making sure the brand stays current and aligned with its identity.

Core Responsibilities

• Plan, film, script, and edit short-form TikTok and Reels content with CapCut to showcase wholesale products and the brand.
• Handle day-to-day posting activity, craft engaging captions, and apply effective hashtag strategies across TikTok and Instagram.
• Research, reach out to, and maintain relationships with relevant influencers for gifting campaigns and brand partnerships.
• Keep track of emerging trends, popular sounds, and industry developments to ensure content remains timely and relevant.
• Manage community interactions by replying to comments, direct messages, and other social media inquiries.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience producing and editing vertical short-form videos for TikTok and Reels, especially using CapCut.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills for influencer outreach and creator management.
• Comfort with reviewing performance data and using analytics to understand engagement and growth.
• Solid working knowledge of TikTok and Instagram features, algorithms, and current beauty-related trends.
• Availability to work full-time from the Greater Chicago Area office.
• Applicants should be able to share examples of TikTok or Instagram accounts they have managed, or short-form videos they have created.
• Experience in e-commerce, beauty, or wholesale/B2B environments is preferred.
