Job description

Role overview

This is a temporary, full-time role supporting a brand’s social and content function. The position focuses on video editing, community engagement, content organization, and producing in-house creative assets for upcoming campaigns and product launches. It supports the wholesale business and is based on-site at the Dolce Vita office in New York, NY.

Key responsibilities

  • Help run the daily execution of social content across multiple platforms.
  • Edit and deliver short-form video assets for digital and social use.
  • Monitor and manage community interactions across social channels.
  • Keep content libraries, campaign files, and social materials organized and current.
  • Contribute to in-house content production for campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives.
  • Balance several projects and deadlines with the support and resources provided.
  • Take on additional tasks and special projects when assigned.

Specific job skills

  • Edit and format short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and similar platforms.
  • Support daily community management, including replies to comments and direct messages.
  • Maintain content archives, campaign assets, and internal folder structures.
  • Capture and create in-house content for campaigns, launches, and social moments.
  • Track social trends, platform changes, and new content styles.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in social media, content creation, marketing, or a related area.
  • Solid working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and newer social platforms.
  • Experience editing short-form videos in CapCut or a comparable tool.
  • Strong organization and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines at once.
  • Creative judgment with an understanding of social-first storytelling and visual presentation.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, collaborative setting.

Compensation

The expected base pay for this role is $26.00 to $28.00 per hour. The range may vary depending on relevant skills, training, years of experience, education, and organizational structure.

This is a temporary position. The role is on-site and must be performed in the Dolce Vita office. The work is tied to the wholesale business.
