Job description
Role overview
Homebaze is expanding several fast-moving ventures in travel technology, education technology, and agriculture. The business needs a creative, commercially minded social media and community professional who can transform day-to-day operations, real activities, and brand moments into content that captures attention, builds credibility, and helps attract customers.
This position is far beyond simple posting and scheduling. It is focused on growth, storytelling, and community engagement.
Your work will shape how audiences perceive, understand, and interact with the brands online.
Core duties
- Convert real business activities into compelling content such as videos, reels, posts, and stories.
- Grow and moderate active communities on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.
- Craft concise, convincing captions and narratives that turn attention into leads.
- Collaborate with designers to deliver strong visual assets and campaign materials.
- Create weekly and monthly content plans aligned with business objectives.
- Handle comments, direct messages, and customer inquiries as the online voice of the brand.
- Measure performance, review what is working, and use data to improve results.
Success expectations
Within the first few weeks, success should look like the ability to consistently turn everyday business activity into engaging, effective content; improve engagement, reach, and audience trust; support lead generation and customer inquiries through social platforms; and maintain a clear, consistent brand tone across all channels.
Candidate profile
The company prioritizes practical thinking and execution over formal certificates. The right person should understand how social platforms contribute to business growth, write clearly and persuasively, turn ordinary moments into strong stories, work well with designers and other creatives, and take initiative by proposing ideas instead of waiting for instructions. Experience managing or growing a social media page, whether personal or business, is important.
Bonus experience
Additional value will be given to candidates with short-form video experience, basic Canva or CapCut skills, exposure to startups, agencies, or other fast-paced settings, and knowledge of lead generation or sales funnels.
