Job description
About the Company
TP-Link Systems Inc. is a U.S.-based global company known for dependable networking equipment and smart home solutions. It is widely recognized as a leading provider of Wi‑Fi devices and serves customers in more than 170 countries. The organization focuses on building innovative products that improve everyday life through faster, more reliable connectivity.
The company values professionalism, innovation, excellence, and simplicity, with the goal of helping customers and clients achieve strong global performance while making connected living easier and more seamless.
Role Overview
TP-Link is hiring a creative Social Content Creator to develop high-impact short-form video for the TP-Link and Tapo brands. This role is centered on concepting, filming, editing, and publishing social-first content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
The ideal candidate understands how to stop the scroll with strong hooks, quick pacing, authentic storytelling, and shareable content. Comfort on camera is important, along with the ability to turn topics like networking, gaming, smart home products, and connected lifestyles into engaging and relatable videos.
You will work closely with the Social Media Team and other marketing groups to test ideas, try new formats, and improve performance with the aim of growing views, engagement, and overall reach.
What You’ll Do
- Produce 2 to 3 short-form videos each week for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Manage the entire content workflow, from idea generation and scripting to shooting, editing, and posting.
- Track trends, memes, viral sounds, and creator formats, then adapt them into content that fits the brand.
- Translate technical subjects such as Wi‑Fi, smart home, gaming, and networking into clear, engaging social content.
- Capture live content at events, product launches, trade shows, and day-to-day office moments.
- Work across teams to turn campaigns and product stories into social-native content.
- Assist with livestreams, creator collaborations, and other special initiatives when required.
- Review content performance using metrics such as views, watch time, engagement, and shares, then use insights to improve future output.
- Continuously test new hooks, formats, and storytelling approaches.
- Create longer explainer videos of about 3 to 5 minutes for product and retail use.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Economics, or a similar discipline.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in content creation, social media, short-form video, digital marketing, or creator-led content.
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaging content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and/or YouTube Shorts.
- Strong grasp of platform trends, pacing, storytelling, and how audiences engage with content.
- Solid video production ability, including filming and editing.
- Confidence and ease while appearing on camera.
- Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.
- Good awareness of internet culture, creator trends, and viral content styles.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
- Interest in or curiosity about consumer technology, gaming, smart home products, or connected devices.
- A creative, experimental mindset with willingness to learn from data and refine content accordingly.
- Continuous work authorization in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
Benefits
- Annual salary range of $75,000 to $85,000.
- Complimentary snacks and drinks.
- Fully employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, with partial dependent coverage.
- 401(k) contributions.
- Performance reviews twice a year, plus annual pay increases.
- Wellness support, including a free gym membership.
- Quarterly team-building activities.
