About the role
This position is for an experienced Snowflake Technical Architect in Bengaluru with Tata Consultancy Services. The role focuses on designing and guiding modern data platform solutions built on Snowflake, with strong emphasis on warehousing, integration, governance, and delivery support.
Core responsibilities
- Apply deep expertise in Snowflake across data modelling, warehouse design, and ETL implementation.
- Work extensively with SQL and at least one scripting language such as JavaScript or Python.
- Support end-to-end data warehousing work, including data marts, data lakes, and ETL workflows.
- Contribute to data governance practices, with attention to data quality, security, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members through clear communication.
Good-to-have experience
- Snowflake certifications such as Snowflake Certified Developer or Snowflake Certified Architect are preferred.
- Hands-on exposure to cloud data platforms on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
- Background with big data ecosystems such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases will be useful.
- Experience using data science tools and languages such as Python, R, or SQL is a plus.
