Job description
About the role
This position sits within the Growth Business team, which works with established organisations that are ready to accelerate expansion. It offers a fast-moving environment, exposure to varied projects, and access to tailored training and career development.
The SMB and MB teams support businesses that are at a stage where more sophisticated sales solutions can be built and delivered by working closely across the wider ecosystem. The role also provides deep exposure to Salesforce’s products, teams, and operating model, helping you broaden your understanding quickly.
Training is provided in both formal and informal formats, with development centred on your strengths and career ambitions. A feedback-driven culture is encouraged, giving you room to take initiative and shape your own path.
What you will do
As an SMB & MB Account Executive, you will work with both existing customers and prospective leads to sell the full Salesforce Customer 360 platform. You will develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in your territory, while helping customers unlock value from their Salesforce investment.
You will also use business development techniques to create opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting.
- Work alongside internal teams to expand value and bring in specialist knowledge
- Build account tiers and map points of view and industry context
- Use multiple outreach channels to generate sales conversations and identify new logo opportunities
- Handle objections effectively and keep deals moving forward
- Research customer personas, markets, and industry trends
- Manage a sizable portfolio of accounts and prioritise work sensibly
- Balance several competing deadlines and deliverables at once
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate is an experienced Account Executive who is keen to grow their career in a technology-led environment. Prior exposure to complex solutions is helpful, though not mandatory, as long as you have worked in a full-cycle quota-carrying sales role.
You should bring a growth mindset, the ability to form and communicate a clear point of view, and the confidence to become a trusted advisor to customers. Self-awareness, curiosity, and a genuine interest in learning are important. Experience with Salesforce is not required, but it would be an advantage. A strong enthusiasm for technology, innovation, and change is also desirable.
