Smart Utility Metering Analyst (Bilingual)

Role Overview

MACH CONSULTANTS is seeking a Smart Utility Metering Analyst to join its Doha team. This full-time onsite role focuses on turning metering data into dependable, decision-ready insights that help improve operational performance, data quality, and loss reduction efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Review smart utility metering information to confirm it is complete, accurate, and dependable.
• Carry out validation, reconciliation, cleansing, and exception-based analysis of metering data.
• Produce analytical findings that help improve operations, strengthen performance, and reduce losses.
• Create, develop, and continuously maintain automated dashboards and reports.
• Spot patterns, irregularities, and data quality gaps, then work with relevant teams to resolve them.
• Partner with Smart Utility Metering Operations, Metering, IT, and Engineering teams to enhance data usability and quality.
• Provide management with ad-hoc analysis and performance evaluation support when needed.
• Follow data governance requirements, confidentiality standards, and company policies.
• Keep clear records of analytical methods, models, reports, and supporting documentation.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Professional certification in Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Analytics, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 4 years of experience in data analysis, ideally in smart utility metering, utilities, or a smart metering setting.
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, and/or R.
• Experience working with large datasets and translating them into practical business insights.
• Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and stakeholder handling capability.
• English fluency is mandatory; Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
