Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Sydney, New South Wales for a Skill Assessment Specialist. The role centers on reviewing each client’s education and work background against the criteria for relevant skill assessment pathways. You will guide applicants on required documents, coordinate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, and support them through the full application journey. Keeping up with changing education and migration rules is an important part of ensuring compliance and providing high-quality service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assess client qualifications and professional experience against skill assessment requirements.
- Advise applicants on the documents and evidence needed for their submissions.
- Work with regulatory bodies and related stakeholders as part of the assessment process.
- Support clients from initial review through to application completion.
- Monitor updates in education and migration policies to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Manage multiple cases carefully while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Required Background
- Sound understanding of skill assessment procedures and the supporting documentation needed.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to handle several applications at once.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, along with a customer-focused approach.
- Good problem-solving ability and familiarity with local and international education and visa rules.
- Comfort using systems or platforms for document handling and data management.
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Prior experience in education consulting or migration services is an added advantage.
