Role overview
Gopuff is hiring a Site Leader II for its Philadelphia operations. This is a demanding, fast-moving leadership role for someone who brings initiative, ownership, and an entrepreneurial mindset. You will oversee a local team of Shift Leaders and Field Operations Associates, manage mega operations at the facility, and coordinate a group of independent Driver Partners. The role is central to the performance of the territory and requires a strong focus on execution and customer experience.
What the role involves
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse activity, including deliveries, inventory, equipment, and operational systems.
- Lead efforts to improve key performance indicators such as order picking time, order dwell time, drive time, order defect rate, and cost per order.
- Support the development of a team of roughly 30 to 40 employees.
- Coordinate both inbound and outbound delivery flow.
- Own site-level financial performance by meeting targets for productivity, labor, and other operating costs.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and warehouse policies by reviewing and interpreting reports.
- Monitor human resources compliance, asset protection, safety controls, and quality/safety checks for people and products.
- Build and execute action plans to lift performance and guide the management team on company programs, recordkeeping, and confidentiality expectations.
- Coach site leadership on managing labor and expenses so they stay aligned with budget and sales volume.
- Develop and roll out plans that strengthen the warehouse’s financial results.
What we are looking for
We need a proven leader with extensive management experience and the ability to succeed in a high-pressure, changing environment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable leading a blended workforce, strong in communication, and capable of solving conflict while building team engagement. Experience from retail, warehousing, logistics, military, restaurants, or a similar environment is preferred.
