About the Role
This is a remote, part-time opportunity for a dependable and proactive virtual assistant to help run the day-to-day activities of a growing short-term rental business. The ideal candidate will be organised, a strong communicator, and comfortable handling guest messaging, property coordination, and general admin work.
You will contribute to a smooth guest experience while also helping properties stay well-managed and efficient as the portfolio expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Reply quickly and professionally to guest questions across several booking channels.
- Handle communication with guests before arrival, throughout their stay, and after checkout.
- Track bookings, calendars, and reservations to keep operations organised.
- Arrange cleaners so each property is ready to a high standard between stays.
- Work with maintenance contractors and handymen to address property issues promptly.
- Maintain and refresh property listings on platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com.
- Support reporting tasks and other day-to-day administrative duties.
- Help resolve problems and maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Reach out to contractors, businesses, and corporate clients for longer-stay accommodation opportunities.
- Contribute ideas and support improvements that make operations more efficient as the business grows.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Experience
- Prior work experience as a virtual assistant.
- Background in short-term rentals, serviced accommodation, or hospitality operations.
- Familiarity with Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, Hospitable, Guesty, or similar property management tools.
- Experience coordinating cleaners, contractors, or other service providers.
- Customer service or hospitality experience.
Working Hours
