Job description
Position Overview
The University of Toronto Scarborough is hiring a sessional lecturer to teach EES1111H, Freshwater Ecology and Biomonitoring. This half-course focuses on freshwater ecosystems, the ecological factors that shape them, and the use of biological monitoring to assess the health of rivers, lakes, and ponds affected by human activity. The course includes a significant practical component so students can build hands-on skills for evaluating aquatic environments impacted by urbanization.

- Teaching schedule: Mondays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Appointment period: duties will run from September 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026
