Job description
Role overview
In this position, you will support service operations by setting up and clearing guest rooms, and when needed, transporting food and beverages to those areas. You will also work with conference ordering systems and carry out preparatory tasks such as mise en place with care. The role is initially fixed for 18 months, with the possibility of moving into a permanent contract if the collaboration is successful.
Key duties
- Train and guide service assistants as needed.
- Prepare mise en place and report the daily demand for goods and supplies.
- Serve food and drinks and handle payments at computer-based cash registers.
- Maintain HACCP records for the work area and inform the responsible HACCP contact in case of deviations.
- Wash dishes and cutlery, including use of a dishwasher where applicable.
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain machines, work tools, storage areas, work surfaces, and the workplace.
Candidate profile
A completed apprenticeship as a hotel or restaurant specialist is preferred. Alternatively, relevant professional experience will also be considered. You should have a friendly manner, a strong service mindset, very good German language skills, and ideally good English skills.
