Service & Safety Officer

Job Summary

Frasers Property Limited is seeking a Service & Safety Officer to provide comprehensive bell, concierge, safety, security, and fire protection services. The role involves safeguarding individuals and property by monitoring access, patrolling premises, and escorting visitors. The primary goal is to deliver a world-class experience while ensuring a secure environment for all clients.

Job Description

• Assisting guests with requests and luggage handling.
• Conducting patrols of assigned areas to maintain building and grounds security.
• Responding to emergency situations, assisting with searches, and reporting any hazards.
• Handling emergency calls and situations, notifying appropriate personnel when necessary.
• Aiding in building evacuations and managing crowd and traffic control.
• Addressing suspicious individuals or activities, safety hazards, and illegal actions within the designated area.
• Maintaining logs and preparing reports on daily activities and duties.
• Organizing and conducting fire drills, safety programs, and fire prevention initiatives.
• Assisting with training on fire prevention, proper use of fire suppression equipment, and evacuation procedures.
• Performing inspections for fire, safety, or security risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Inspecting and maintaining safety equipment and vehicles, reporting any malfunctions.

Key Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in safety, security, or fire prevention is preferred.
• Proficiency in security industry standards and methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution, de-escalation, and threat response.
• Proven capability to manage challenging situations with tact and discretion, and perform effectively under stress.
• Must possess and maintain all required state guard certifications and licenses.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
• Exceptional skills in time management, communication, incident report writing, and organization.
• A dependable team player with business insight and enthusiasm.
• First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends and holidays, is required.
