About the Role

Cogans Toyota Carrigaline is looking for a dedicated Service Advisor to join their Aftersales department. This crucial role serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring a seamless service experience. Responsibilities

  • Manage service and repair appointments booked via phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Accurately identify necessary service and repair work based on vehicle specifics like age, mileage, and maintenance history.
  • Clearly and precisely document customer-reported issues.
  • Coordinate workshop schedules and manage capacity using the Keyloop DMS.
  • Provide clear cost estimates and secure customer approval for work.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle, including any unexpected findings or additional service needs.
  • Ensure strict adherence to GDPR regulations and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare invoices detailing all services performed and process payments.
  • Ensure vehicles are returned to customers on time and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a service advisor, customer service, call centre, or technical administration role is required.
  • Proficiency in IT and administrative tasks; experience with Keyloop DMS is beneficial.
  • Possess a professional and friendly telephone manner with strong communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain organization in a busy environment.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A collaborative team spirit, with the capacity to work independently when necessary.
  • While automotive industry experience is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement.

Additional Information

This role is based in Carrigaline, County Cork, Ireland. The position is full-time and permanent. The compensation includes a basic annual salary ranging from €30,000 to €36,000, with potential for an additional €3,000 to €6,000 per annum in performance-related pay.
