Job description

About the Role

Singapore Lifestyle Associates Pte Ltd is growing its team and is seeking compassionate Service Advisors to support individuals and families with advance planning services. The role is centered on empathy, professionalism, and helping clients make informed decisions that reduce future emotional and financial burden.

The company is among the early Singapore agencies, authorised since 2009, to market and sell products and services for Nirvana Memorial Garden. It represents the Nirvana Group and promotes the value of planning ahead with dignity, clarity, and peace of mind.

This position suits people who enjoy meaningful conversations and want to guide others through important life decisions. It is available in full-time, part-time, and freelance formats.

Responsibilities

  • Hold individual consultations with clients to explain pre-planning options, including burial, cremation, memorial services, and related arrangements.
  • Share information in a respectful and caring way so clients can understand the purpose and benefits of afterlife planning.
  • Create tailored service plans that reflect each client’s cultural, personal, and financial needs.
  • Keep records accurate, secure, and confidential in line with ethical, legal, and industry expectations.
  • Work with funeral directors, estate planners, and bereavement support teams to deliver a smooth client experience.
  • Take part in outreach and marketing efforts to build awareness of end-of-life planning.

Why This Role May Appeal to You

  • Opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting difference in people’s lives.
  • Chance to help families prepare ahead and gain peace of mind.
  • Supportive workplace with a purpose-led culture.
  • Exposure to communication, advisory, and relationship-building skills.

Training and Suitability

No prior experience is required. Full training and mentorship will be provided.

This opportunity is suitable for students, retirees, retrenched workers, people considering a career change, and individuals currently unemployed who are looking for meaningful work.

Applicants should be willing to learn and have a sincere desire to serve others.

Requirements

  • Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
  • Comfortable speaking about afterlife arrangements and memorial planning.
  • Strong respect for different religions and beliefs, with sensitivity toward religious harmony.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Able to build and maintain positive client relationships.

Important Note

Because this is a religion-related organisation, applications are limited to Chinese Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.
